All people have a right to clean air, fresh water and unpolluted soil and waste as a by-product of industry and individual living should be minimised and eventually stopped.  The Greens’ ground-breaking Senate Inquiry into the threat of marine plastics received full cross party support for its important recommendations including Container Deposit Legislation, and we’ll work hard to ensure that this is implemented in every state as soon as possible.
