Over 1,700 species of animals and plants are at risk of extinction.  Dredging for coal and gas ports and mass coral bleaching are threatening the Great Barrier Reef.

Thanks to global heating, Australia’s water resources and the Murray Darling Basin are more important now than ever before. These shared, nationally significant assets must be protected for future generations.

New coal and gas mining is threatening our forests and food bowls. Tasmania's incredible World Heritage wilderness is under threat from bushfires driven by global warming.  The Greens are pushing for a new generation of national environment laws and real funding for nature.

We need an independent watchdog to enforce the rules and fix the rigged system that gives big miners and developers too much power.
